About Us

RHPS @ Hoboken is made up of Rocky veterans from Stevens Institute of Technology who want to keep the the wild and free-spirited show in Hoboken. After a multi-year run at the college ended, some alumni and passionate students came together to try and save the show. After a successful Indiegogo campaign, we were able to throw our very first shadowcast at Bow Tie Cinemas and it was a rousing success. Now, we want to continue so we can give Hoboken an amazing show and hopefully contribute back to the community in our own special way.

Why We're doing It

For ten years, the Rocky Horror Picture Show was a celebration of inclusivity at our little college. Guys, gals, and nonbinary pals would gather in their Rocky best to enjoy the cult classic. At the Stevens showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, we encouraged everyone to be themselves, no matter who that was. We're expanding our production because we want all of Hoboken to have that. Also, it's just really fun to yell things at the big screen.
